9/12 Candidate: Paul C McKain | U.S Congress 2nd District Florida
Paul McKain is running for U.S Congress in Florida’s 2nd Congressional district. He has been married to his wife Ruth for Over 28 years, and together, they have 3 children. They live in Tallahassee and love to take advantabge of all that the Great State of Florida has to offer, such as camping and surfing. Paul has lived here for over 50 years. 
Paul is a registered member of the Florida Whig Party, and will be their first candidate on the ballot for the next elections in 2010. He has a BS in education and a minor in physical science. He was a teacher for three years before joining the Sunrise Florida Fire/Resuce Dept. (SFFRD), where he worked for 23 years until he retired. While working as a fire fighter and paramedic, his spare time consisted of developing several businesses, such as one that he invented a vacuum release system that is now, by law, required in all public pools and spas. This release system is added to the vacuums to prevent loss of life/limb or other bodily injury. This success inspired him to write a book called: “Successful Failures: So You Have an Idea, Now What?” to help inspire other inventors to success in their ideas. Has has teken this as his motto: “Find a problem, Fix a Problem”
Paul is ready to take this motto to Washington. He has found the problem, and wants to fix it. He wants to represent the great people of District 2, and help fix these problems they, and the rest of us in America are facing.
